For all of you that dont know already.

Epic will release Unreal Tournament 2003 with OFFICIAL Linux Support.  You dont even have to buy a special edition of the game. One box works for both Win and Linux.

This is a very damn good start. Epic is not a small company.

BTW buy the game. I played the Demo and you WONT believe the graphical detail and physics of the new Unreal Engine. I kid you not. There is not a single square like shape anywhere to be found. From its characters to how the hills, trees, interiors are designed.

I cant wait to see what other Gaming Companies will do with that engine and the games they will release.

Check this bad boy out.

Heh, never thought of that.

Actually, one of the main ways Linux going to be something is by getting our schools to actually educate people, not just let them whack off all day. That way people would be harder to fool (Microsoft marketing, anyone?) and know how to count.

Er... actually they have ported it to the pc in their own little way.  Recent news reports from the register.co.uk suggest they are keeping a special x86 version as like some back up plan if all else fails on their home front.

If they did it right now then there market share would increase right away, dumb buggers just want to play inside their own hardware.  Apple are of so good quality its a shame the masses cannot get to use them other than inside schools and colleges.

The first pc i used was a mac but i had to buy a pc because macs were expensive.
