that security thing only opens when you try to open certain types of media file that are meant to be paid for before you can use them. go into Kazaa and look for sexbroadcaster, those files highlighted in orange are the ones that need that weird authentication thing.

Those "orange" files work fine when you use WINE in Linux. Out of boredom, I downloaded one of those "Just $1.99" files one night, and it worked fine.  

...And I never got a DRM pop-up, either.
