So... you don't like a band because it's to"o" popular. Typical.

suselinux:
I don't like the gorillaz 'cause its that Rap crap

Popular?  I thought that the Gorillaz used up there fifteen minutes

Im actually surprised that there aren't any DRM music files floating around those P2P thingies

copperhead said that

the orange authentication protected files worked fine in wine

what happened? what did you see?

I thought there was a Kazaa for Linux?

Sadly, it seems that you havn't listened to thier CD.

The Gorrilaz do not stick to a single genre. In thier songs you can hear rap, rock, alternative, punk, techno... hell. Even Latino. Probably more that I'm forgetting.

I don't want to take this thread too far off topic, but your right.

Im only judging Gorillaz by a couple of music Videos

About this DRM thing though

is the file any bigger because of the DRM

a regular MP3 might be 3megs but with DRM would it be 4?

Refalm:
No, Microsoft worked very hard (harder than on Windows) to make WMA files smaller than MP3's, in the hope that a lot of people will use them.
My MP3 player can store only 32 MB, so I usually copy a few MP3's to a directory and convert them there into WMA. After it's on my MP3 player, it goes straight into the bin.
