Debunking the top ten reasons to "Make the Move" to LindowsOS

Can I (legally, with Aqua and all the stuff Apple puts in it, not just Darwin) get OSX for free? Because if I can I'm going to start bitching at Apple.

The point is, I can download Linux and install it on as many computers as I want, while I have to buy Lindows to do that (do they allow more than one install?). Consumers that get, say, the Walmart Lindows computer probably won't know that they can likely find a better, more stable, better looking distribution than Linux.

Well you can't get everything that's in Lindows in other distributions, but that's not really relevant. The point is, both Lindows and OS X are just proprietary addons to free software, which I think is bad, but I wouldn't say that one is worse than the other.

Speaking of booting, we were impressed there too. The boot process is also extremely fast. it's also more friendly for first-timers -- it hides the usual kernel text junk that appears during boot. SuSE, Red Hat and the other distros might want to consider doing this as well. It won't bother experienced users, but Linux newbies could start gibbering in terror as gobs of kernel text scroll by while the computer is starting. We were disappointed to see the kernel text displayed when we closed Lindows down - a slightly odd inconsistency in behavior.

When I first booted Linux, and I saw all that kernel text showing, I thought it was awesome! Kernel text > you

Ok so is Lindows alot better fate for the mass market newbie then Windows XP?

Actually, the Lindows license does allow you to install it on all the computers you own.  Just not on computers you don't own....
