OK  New thread....Shall we continue?

5 Meg boot partition and a 96-128 Meg Swap partition?

SD

voidmain:
On a drive that small you have no need for a "/boot" partition.  And I would not go lower than 128MB swap as the first partition on the drive.

creedon:
I agreed with voidmain before and asked what file system and kernel you opted for; my reccomendation was ext2 for the F/S, and the 2.2.xx kernel; you can upgrade the kernel with apt-get.

Sleeping Dog:
We are on the front end of a Debian load.  The Kernel and file system are up to you guys.  Remember, we will later be putting the two Windows apps (AutoCad 13 and PhotoShop 5.5) on the second 1.2 gig HD.  For now, I need for you to tell me how you want the JDebian install set up.

Remember too, I am following YOUR (the majority's) directive on this install.  You make the decisions, I am just loading disks and hitting keys.

Sleeping Dog:
What file system do you guys want and what should I do next relative to that file system and the partitions that I should be creating during the load?
