yeah, but then agian if the source for solarise/*one has desire for a sparc 10 or the likes*/ was made open. it would be unsecure. i think that most Open Source projects have done a damned good job of getting rid of all bugs and making things work better. security through obscurity is wrong. an os's security i think should only be claimed through the lack of holes in the code. which ms would lose sorely. come one, there are more holes in M$'s code then an alcoholic's brain /*mmmmm, tasty alcohol yummy*/

X11, why are you torturing yourself. i have had to make a network work under xp, its a bitch. xp in gerneral is a bitch/*one of my friends keeps xp on his new hp is to call hp and bitch and cuss them out*/but since you have the freedom to do as you please with your system. i don't really know if there is a  mozilla theme for xp other then mozilla itself
