buzza24:
I am wondering if my Microsoft Optical Wireless mouse will work under Red Hat Linux 9.

WBS.

Pissed_Macman:
I HATE YOU YOU BASTARD!!!!!!!

Yeah it should work fine since M$ mice work for Macs with no problem. But what do I know?

Fett101:
It's got a PS/2 connection, right? No reason it shouldn't.

jasonlane:
Ya, M$ is the only crap you need to install a driver fer a stinking mouse.

solo:
the mouse will work perfectly. Guaranteed. PS/2 mice all work. USB mice all work. If thge mouse has a scroll wheel, make sure to select the "Wheel mouse" version of the USB or PS2 mouse (whichever port the mouse uses.) It will automatically select the non-wheel version of your mouse, so the wheel version will be just above or below it. No worries. In any case, your mouse will work, and you can change the wheel settings at any time.
