Doogee:
see edit.
The whole thing is
Uncompressing Kernel...
crc error -
System Halted
i tihnk it may somehow have something to do with the new kernel i installed, should i just wipe my linux partitions or what?

Is this a purchased copy or a downloaded copy? If it is downloaded and burned with a CD writer it is *very* common for the RedHat CDs not to get burned correctly, not sure why. But as X11 (bob) says, one of the first things you should see when booting the install disk is a media check. You should run that and make sure they all pass.

This is when you are trying to boot from the RedHat CDs to do the install right? It should have nothing to do with anything on the hard drive. Looks like a bad CD to me (or an incompatibility with the CD-ROM drive). I'll do some checking though.
Doogee:
yeah when i press enter at the prompt
