Can you view the CDs in Windows? If so grab a floppy disk and create a boot floppy using "rawrite" which you will find in the \dosutils directory on the first CD. The image you want to write to floppy is in "\images" on the first floppy, one called "boot.img". You can also try running the autoboot.bat file in \dosutils and see if that works.

damnit ive gotta go back into win.
voidmain:
No you don't, sorry, am I too late??
Doogee:
yep, far too late. im in windows now and ive written. "boot.img" using rawwrite for windows. now what do i do?
voidmain:
Sorry about that, I forgot you had Mandrake up and running. Creating the disk actually would have been easier in Mandrake using the "dd" command. Oh well..
Set your BIOS to use the floppy drive as the first boot device and see if you get that same error, or just double click on that autoboot.bat file, or try both and see if they all give the same error. If they do then I would say there is a BIOS setting that may need adjusting relating to memory or processor.
