Yep, faster, larger hard drives on some models, faster cdrw combo drives. Increased Radeon Graphics. 10.2. And Cheaper.

I'll take that 800mhz 12.1 for $1299 "to go" thank you.  With a side of Airport.

Great except for the RAM which remains at 128 MBs in the smaller iBook. I think they should focus on that as well. Apart from that, these are very nice prices for Apple laptops and what they offer.

it should still be cheaper. it's pretty weak for a grand. Apple was stupid to hang around with moto when moto didn't give a shit.

we could have badass stuff now if it weren't for apple's crappy, bonehead marketers insisting the G4 is the greatest thing since sliced bread
Go the fuck ~

I don't know if it should be cheaper, but with 128 MBs of RAM (I'm talking about the iBook) they are a bit week. I'm still saving to buy myself some RAM and upgrade my iBook 600. I can't say it's slow, all I'm saying is it could be faster.

What do you mean by the "we could have badass stuff now" approach? Do you mean that Apple should turn to the x86 architecture? If so, I think that this would be a terrible mistake.

For me. the stock RAM is almost a moot point. I would never use a computer with the stock amount of RAM anyway. Portables only have two ram slots, so many people are going to immediately yank out the smaller chips and replace it with two fat 512 chips.

They cut the price by $200 for crying out loud! Spend it on RAM...$31.49 for 128MB from Crucial. But yes, I do agree that it should be 256 out of the box by now. I would be for an upping of the price $50 or $75 if they doubled the RAM. It would  be nice for people to have the better experience right out of the box.

What the hell are you talking about? At least Apple doesn't have to lie to sell it's products (like M$). The G4 is the greatest thing since sliced bread, by the way.

With your moto/better stuff statement, I also gather that you are for a switch to x86. You are just jealous that you can't have OS X on your mediocre hardware   :D
