BIG difference.  Many of us here run a *nix variant other than OS X.  Many of us do not even own a mac.

Well, I have a feeling that he'll get sick of posting here after awhile.  You can only go on for so long like that.

MacOSX is simply a flavor of BSD Unix.  So calling it gay is also calling Free/Open/NetBSd gay.  

Why am I even trying to make a logical arguement, whn all he is going to reply with is bullshit?

Hopefully that will take out that immature retard (unless he's 'upgraded' to winxp by sticking on Kazaa long enough to download the disk image), and if not, we can continue sticking it out and bearing his prejudiced, simple-minded homophobic views until I can build a case strong enough to send it to Webmaster and ask the ideal question: Ban him or call his ISP?

Of course, if he does start posting again, I might start editing his posts just for a bit of fun.

I think we should look back on this and laugh, laugh at the AOL-using, Dell-worshipping lamer that managed to bring us so much rage in his all-caps, homophobic posts which would probably get him convicted of hate crimes in at least three states... california included.]

You do realize that men (and women) who use Macs have more heterosexual sex than users of any other platforms  :cool:  . It was released by a respected British research firm.

I think they were just real tired of a bunch of little homophobic shits trying to be the next Eminem who go skateboarding then sit in their house in front of their "mother"'s Dell posting hate screeds to Usenet and whatever forum-of-the-day they see, and listen to punk rock while they watch the flames come in...

the guy who invented IP addresses and whois was probably thinking of these same teenytrolls too.

I think he's either gotten pissed off and left or he's been arrested by local police for hate crimes.

Hmmm..... I must say that in my experience as a secondary teacher, a number of my students have resorted to uneducated homophobic rants to justify their purchases of wintel machines.  However, when we really get down to why they bought them it is either 1) because they are "faster" and "cheaper"   2) because they actually enjoy stuffing around with the system  or  3) - and most commonly - they want an expensive toy to play games on.

Oh.... and the discussions go like this:

whats that you're using?  ...... A G3 laptop
thats a mac isnt it?....... yes
macs suck......... oh yes
and the OS is gay.........oh yes
you cant play games on a mac...... I dont play games
so what do you use it for...... for work and study
I just use mine for games....... oh yes
did you know that mac stole the windows idea from microsoft? ....... oh did they?
yes.. windows 3.2 was the first GUI....... my mac plus had a gui
mac plus? how long ago was that?.......   oh about 15 years ago.

anyway macs do suck - there arent enough games for them..........
