I believe abandonware wont ever be embraced by M$... after all, they bend you over the table and shove newer versions of their stinking piles of horseshit directly up your ass... and as for the last legitimate M$ product I bought, and the only one... Pinball Arcade ;)

Nice sig!!!
Doctor V:
I don't have any pirated software. The only software I have that isn't free is games, all of which I've paid for. I do have a couple of mp3s that I didn't pay for. I don't really understand what is legal and what isn't legal about mp3s.
I didn't get them from a file sharing program, I got them from an FTP site. I guess thats still illegal. But how about if I start listening to the radio, and wait until the song comes up, then copy it. That would be legal, right. I could use streamripper to get it from an Internet radio station if one played it. That would be legal as well. Come to think of it, I could set up icecast, and broadcast it, then rip it from my own broadcast to obtain a legal copy, and then delete the illegitimate copys. That would be legal right?
Gotta love loopholes in the law.

So why should they be punished for copying software?

because you can't get it off the radio (or television or other public network)
Kintaro:
Its not about the law, but about the people who go to work to make the music, if the music is stolen... Even if it is not illegal. You are a disgusting leech. (Unless the Music is Eminem, or canadian (joke, but not the eminem bit))
I try to keep away from pirate software, and stuff. Unless it is: Microsoft, or out of date (Old IBM DOS for example).
Doctor V:
If its not illegal, its not stealing.
