earthquake
badkarma:
luckily the biggest quake we ever had here was a 4.5 and was about 100km away.... that was a few years ago ... I'd hate to live on a faultline :-/
Calum:
we supposedly get tiny ones all the time. I used to live right on the edge of town in a loft and i did feel some shudderring once or twice, unusual...
cahult:
Seattle is waiting for "the big one". So am I...
hoojchoons:
You should visit Greece!! Talk about earthquakes!! I've experienced two big ones until now. The first in '81 and the second in '99 (with many casualties). Oh and Calum, Britain doesn't get any earthquakes.

Calum:
none, eh? let's not become earthquake elitists here, i never said they were very noticable, and i'm not saying they're anything like Greece's either. I would never even have known about it if somebody had not mentioned it to me.
Why do you say none? i may have been mistaken (you know, from all that acid i dropped in the sixties! ;) )
