I could not have answered this without google, to be honest. I haven't learned English history in highschool, only general history and the boring history of colonnial and modern Canada.
You Europeans are so lucky to have such a rich history!

Hastings is right. The actual battle took place a few kilometres outside Hastings, at a place which today has the fitting name of Battle. :D
