Motion to "Ignore Plagerists"

(1/2) > >>

jasonlane:
Certain trolls like M$C have been wasting a lot of peoples time on this forum, time that could have been better spent in real rhetoric and discussion.

It has been proved that this Troll is nothing but a plagiarist (not even a real troll), he's a thief, the lowest of the low. It is obvious that a IP ban cannot be enforced. I move that he is ignored from here on in. It's posts are obviously plagiarised, so they should be deleted as soon as possible.

This forum is a place were people come looking for advice to alternatives, which they receive. Also a place were real discussions take place on subjects we all seem passionate about in one way or another. We need more of  this, we do not need our time wasted by a theif.

psyjax:
Well, I guess you are all right. I have warned him.

That's it M$ corp, you are now persona non-grata.

Any post by you, good or bad will be deleted. Simple as that. Hope you get board.

Later.

slave:
Um he's not a thief for plagiarising, just a liar for insinuating that he wrote it.  But who says trolls have to be original!  (Although frankly the funniest ones write their own shit)

Doctor V:
If you copy someone's work, its plagerism; if you copy many peoples' work, its research.

jasonlane:
The word Plagiarism comes from the root Latin word for "Kidnap" or "Kidnapping" and the Latin to "steal" -

'plagiarius' an abductor, thief, kidnapper, plunderer
'plagiare (plag-zare)' to steal, to plunder

Plagiarism can be seen as stealing, thus the Plagiarist as a thief, however this varies on the context or circumstances.

So the word Plagiarism can be seen as outright theft through to trivial copying.

"fur est" interestingly is Latin for "he is a thief". e.g

"Billvs Gatvs, fur est "

or possibly more appropriately in the (pl.)

"Microsoftis et Billvs Gatvs, plagiarius estis"

or my personal fav:

'systema FENESTRARIA XP corruit saepe" -  Windows XP crashes often.

This response was Plagiarised from many sources
