Interesting and funny, an englishman who likes latin in the same forum as a swede who likes old english as well as celtic culture. Latin for me is just another part of indoeuropean culture. There, I wrecked the thread... :D

Plagiarism can be seen as stealing, thus the Plagiarist as a thief, however this varies on the context or circumstances.

So the word Plagiarism can be seen as outright theft through to trivial copying.

"fur est" interestingly is Latin for "he is a thief". e.g

"Billvs Gatvs, fur est "

or possibly more appropriately in the (pl.)

"Microsoftis et Billvs Gatvs, plagiarius estis"

or my personal fav:

'systema FENESTRARIA XP corruit saepe" -  Windows XP crashes often.

Top that with a Canadian from Quebec who speaks french from France and likes English from England, also speaks Spanish and German and is learning a bit of Japanese on the side. And I also like Latin, although I haven't learned it yet.
