What game should I get?

I have all the Blizzard games, so that rules W3 and D2 out. I think I will purchase Battlefield 1942 and Neverwinter Nights. Thanks for the replies.

i'd say, if you like first person shooters, get quake3. if you can wait a few months, get either doom3 or halflife 2, cause they both look awesome.

good choices.  BF1942 is amazing.  (get the expansion and the Desert Combat Mod)  its the best mod available.

I am a die hard Baldurs Gate fan. When I heard Neverwinter nights was comming I was sooo excited, I egerlly ran out and baught a copy. It was such a disapoimtment. Storyline is boring, gameplay is pathetic, all the quests are hunt and fetch, and the characters are not fleshed out.

Can I say also that I think that the Second Edition AD&D rules are much better, fair, and balanced.

I have been waiting for a game that would fill the hole left after I finished Baldurs Gate II still havent found it. Tho, Planescape:Torment is pretty darn good!

I have a theory about RPGs, the minute they go full 3d, they begin to suck monkey ass. I think it has something to do with sacrificing gameplay for graphics.

I regard Neverwinter Nights as kind of a Diablo II and Balder's Gate II in-between.  More Hack 'n Slash than BG2, but not as much as Dia2, more RPG than Dia2 but not as much as BG2.
