No, don't get Diablo II. It is a complete and utter waste of time. Same goes for Everquest.

You going to get the WC3 expansion Quirk? Comes out July 1 and it is going to be sweet (trust me, I've played the beta a bit)

Try Neverwinter Nights, its like Diablo II with a story and choices to make and the like.  Very good game.  If you ever played Balders Gate, its pretty much a sequel to that.  And it works on linux, they don't have a Linux port, but provide a Linux client making it run in wine (not winex) smoothely.

That reminds me, baulder's gate dark alliance is very fun. Not sure if there is a PC version though.

i think dark alliance is for console only....too bad.  They have baulders gate 1 and 2 both with expansions for pc though...good games
