Right now, wireless is incredibly insecure. I was in a security conference that just happened to be right next door to a building we had some Cisco wireless units in. The guy brought up his laptop with wireless card, started up his sniffer and we started seeing some of our packets flying by. It was a little embarrassing. That's the "real" reason I am not interested in wireless. I have Cat5 connections all over my house (except the bathroom) so it's not that big of a deal for me.

The gigabit cards I bought were so cheap. Now if only the switches would come down in price. :mad:

Are you running gigabit over copper? I've run a lot of fibre gigabit but the gigabit over copper wasn't available yet. Those fibre switches are very expensive (and fibre is certainly not the cheapest/easiest to run).
