NON MS DOS
Caldera DR-DOS 7.03 is free for personal use.  It is not free for commercial or educational use.

Caldera OpenDOS 7.01 is free for personal or educational use.  OpenDOS is DR-DOS with a different name.

OF course, this is free in terms of money, not free speech (no source code).

well, i went to caldera's site and could not find either of those for download. Care to give me urls please? thanks for that.

While i'm on the subject, did you guys know about RxDOS? I haven't tried it yet, but it looks interesting, any input?

Also, what about Desktop 2? It seems to be an alternative-to-mswindows frontend for DOS.

You may obtain DR-DOS directly from lineo's ftp site (Lineo is Caldera's embedded technologies spin-off).

ftp://ftp.lineo.com/pub/drdos

You can also get it from Club DR-DOS

http://www.drdos.org

Club DR-DOS is a nice web site, with links to FAT32 and LFN drivers, as well as other stuff.
