Firefox misbehaving
« on: 18 June 2005, 17:34 »
I just uninstalled Download Accelerator Plus, the proprietary p.o.c., and Firefox simply can't get over it. Each time I click a DL, Firefox just says "DAP could not be loaded, click the back button in your browser". Any ideas as to how I could fix this?

Thanks,
jenda

Uninstalled or forcibly removed somehow? That sounds like a DAP issue. You might want to contact them, just for the heck of it, or just reinstall firefox. Well, unless you're interested in debugging the problem yourself.

Hmm... Uninstalled, and then deleted the folder which it left behind...
Heh... Sorry to bother, it fixed itself when I rebooted. Universal Windows cure. Anyway, I'm leaving Fredericton in a week and leaving my uncle and his computer behind, so it's not that big of a deal anyway. From then on - 100% Ubuntu.
