I thought those squiggles were some weird part of the interface.  My bad.

So, if I were to create an svg of the normal gimp logo, that would be appreciated?  Is that legal?  I would probably use Illustrator on the Mac, since inkscape is kinda beta.

Any efforts are appreciated, although there are many SVG icon themes which I could look in to find a good one. As for legality, I don't think there will be a problem as every icon theme comes with it's own rendering of it.

I will take part as much as possible, I know C#, just not very well. I could get back into it for something this awesome.

Somebody has already taken the name Komodo and associated it with a $300 price tag.  And their logo is awesome, even if they don't display it properly on the website.
