Never tried a lan party with Linux, but I'm sure someone has.  But as far as I know that should be possible with WineX on Red Hat.

Red Hat is a great choice.  Personally I use Mandrake and love it.  But all Mandrake is, is Red Hat with some extra features and a different way of configuring things, and some other perks that I prefer.

Oh and your GeForce will work.  You can get the actual drivers at Nvidia's website:  www.nvidia.com .  You need to download two rpm's and install them; but they offer a shell script to easily figure out what you need.

VoidMain, he can listen to me if he wants to. If he choosed to ignore me, then so be it. My valid input is very obvious and repective, do a dual boot. Lots of people do it. If you think that isn't valid adivse, get your head examined.

hoojchoons, I hope he knows that would be pirated. Kinda like me saying "get a free car", the only way is to steal, I was hoping the person had half a brain which I think he does. Next time I'll take my time and cover all my bases, since you all love to nit pick.

If you want to push your M$ bull shit go to the M$ web site. We're not interested. And if you are suggesting doing something that you have never done yourself then your input is not valid. Period. You *might* get away with it even in the M$ section of this web site, but I doubt it.

Ctrl no irony intended. From my point of view pirating M$ software is even worse than buying it. Let me explain: M$'s coders do deserve to be paid for the software they create no matter how evil a company like M$ is. These guys are just employees there and they have to do their job. As far as I'm concerned if it were up to them they would do a damn good job. But, unfortunately that's not their decision to make. When you have Ballmer or Gates up your ass ordering you to do as much as you can in a very short period of time, then you're prone to make mistakes (it's human for God's sake). M$'s CEO's don't give a fuck if their software is buggy or not, they just want to sell and make money. Profit is their motto!! Hence, if you decide to use Windoze, do pay for your copy. Otherwise, use Linux, Mac OS, FreeBSD or one of the alternatives, which by the way are endless!

also, if a lot of people pirate M$ shitty software, then it still gets eyeball time, and people still think it is the only good software out there. If you pirate M$' software, you help them continue to dominate the computing world.
